This policy explains how PrimeFit is designed to handle information when you browse the website, save a style profile, contact us, or create an account. Review and update this text to reflect your actual production systems and applicable law before launch.

Information you provide

Depending on the features you use, this may include your email address, name, login credentials handled by our authentication provider, style preferences, sizing information, budget range, and messages sent through the contact form.

Style profile and local storage

If you create a style profile without signing in, the website can store your choices in local browser storage on that device. Clearing browser data may remove them. When the backend is connected, the profile may also be sent to our server to generate matching recommendations. Signing in can be used to associate a profile with your account, depending on the backend implementation.

Sign-in cookie

When you sign in, we set a single secure, HTTP-only cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. It is used only for authentication and is removed when you sign out.

How information is used

Information is used to provide requested features, personalize product discovery, maintain account security, respond to messages, improve the service, and meet legal obligations. We do not ask for information unrelated to the style service as a condition of browsing.

Retailers and affiliate links

When you open a retailer link, you leave PrimeFit and are subject to that retailer's privacy policy. Affiliate partners may use cookies or tracking parameters to attribute a purchase. PrimeFit does not control retailer websites.

Storage, security and retention

Production data handling depends on the backend and hosting configuration. Use secure transport, access controls, appropriate retention periods, and secure password hashing. Never store plaintext passwords. Contact the service through the Contact page to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable.

Children

PrimeFit is intended for a general audience interested in clothing discovery and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

Policy changes

We may update this policy as features change. Before launch, publish the correct effective date and ensure this notice matches the data you actually collect and the third-party services you use.
